A church was certainly in existence in Eccleston in 1188.
Eccleston Church ( sited in the old Churchyard ) was built. The remains of this old church are still visible in the Old Churchyard.
Pulford Church of St Mary's was designed by the architect John Douglas. Funding was partly met by the 1st Duke of Westminster.
Eccleston Church of St Mary's designed and built by the famous architect G.F. Bodley.
Pulford Church spire destroyed by fire and rebuilt.
Beautiful Gate ( "Mary Wood Gate" ) commissioned to replace old side gate leading to the Old Churchyard at Eccleston Church.
The Sanctuary Lamp is installed in Eccleston Church.
